In the sacred town of Liska, renowned as one of the holiest places in the world, the profound prayers recited at the tomb of the esteemed tzadik, Rebbe Hershele Lisker zt"l, resonate with deep significance.

Unique moments unfold in one of the holiest places on earth, the town of Liska, where heartfelt prayers offered at the grave of the revered tzadik, Rebbe Hershele Lisker zt"l, echo with blessings.

In this prayer, requests are made for the healing of the sick, abundance for those in need, and peace and health for Israel and all of humanity. Liska has always been a special place in the Jewish world, as it was here that the Liska Rebbe built the famous synagogue, which was among the largest in Europe at the time. The memory of the town and the tzadik lives on vibrantly in Jewish communities, as many come here to request blessings in accordance with the Kivrei Tzadikim tradition.

Among the revered Hasidic leaders, Rebbe Hershele Lisker (רבי הערשעלע ליסקער), also called Zvi Hirsh Friedmann (צבי הירש פרידמאן) and recognized for his work Ach Pri Tevu'ah (אך פרי תבואה), continues to impact his followers with his teachings. As a student of the illustrious Teitelbaum Moshe zt"l (משה טייטלבוים זצ״ל), known as the Yismach Moshe (ישמח משה), the Rebbe gained deep insights into Torah and Hasidic teachings. This close disciple relationship remains alive in the hasidic communities, especially among the Satmar followers, who honor the memory of both Teitelbaum and Rebbe Hershele Lisker.

Whether in Borough Park, Williamsburg, or any part of Israel, Hasidic communities globally regard the town of Liska and the Liska Rebbe's merit with deep reverence. The Liska cemetery stands as a significant Kivrei Tzadikim site, where prayers gain special potency through the merit of the tzadik. During the Rebbe's yahrzeit (יארצייט), thousands gather at this site to pray and request blessings for their families and communities.

The spiritual legacy of the Liska Rebbe, which he left us through works like Ach Pri Tevu'ah (אך פרי תבואה) and Hayoshor veHatov (הישר והטוב), continues to inspire and guide Jewish communities around the world. Liska is a sacred land that embodies past miracles and blessings while continuing to serve as a site where prayers, steeped in deep faith, resonate and bestow blessings on all visitors.
